Design By Marjo Kranenborg: Minimalistic And All Black

Marjo Kranenborg stylist designer founder BLCK

Marjo is wearing The Leather Black Dress – photographed by Mehdi Lacoste @ Paris Fashion Week March 2015 for American Vogue online.

Marjo Kranenborg; especially well known as a stylist in the Netherlands but beside that (which we like even more), she is a stylist with a huge passion for black and the designer of a perfect leather dress. She is wearing black for the past 25 years and the founder of her own label BLCK.

“I realised that in the overwhelming and ever-changing world of fashion, this color has helped me to express myself. Black provided me the opportunity to define my personal style of contemporary minimalism, timeless and ageless sophistication.”

Iconic black fashion

For years Marjo was working in the world of fashion and interior, but last year she came up with the idea of a label named BLCK. The icon product for BLCK is the all leather dress, to order in a short or longer version. So… if you love black, well designed clothing, leather and minimalism take a look at the BLCK shop.

BLCK is the leather black dress

The leather black dress – in a buttersoft glove-quality lamb plunge – is for women who appreciate easy-to-wear luxury and timeless style.

The dress is inspired by the iconic Shirt-Dress and comes in knee & maxi length in the sizes 34 – 44. The dress has a slim silhouette and shoulders, yet gives all the freedom for movement. The back is lined tot avoid stretching of the back panels. Arms and front are un-lined for a sensual second-skin feel. The dress has no visible stitching on the outside except for the buttonholes.

The buttons are specially designed and produced for BLCK. The top button has the BLCK logo.
